I'd love an entire duvet made out of some Ghastlie fabric! It would be awesome indeed! I've tagged you over on my blog to do the latest nosey tag going around. I hope you don't mind! xxx
I like all those frames! I wonder if this comes in upholstery fabric. There's something about the wallpaper background that makes this fitting for a chair/pillow in my mind. I'd like to see this fabric made into something. Maybe people wear full dresses covered in these characters?
That is gorgeous!
want. curtains. love. sigh.
Love it. I see this used for covering seat cushions on an ornate dining set. :)
Yep. I need curtains too! Do they have a violet background one? Just wondering.
Hi Vanessa,Yeah, I love it!Hi VainGlorySinner,A duvet is a great idea! Thank you for thinking of me regarding the tag. I've received a ton of them so I'll add one of your questions to my list of questions to answer. I have to bend the rules for sanity's sake. :)Hi Justine,Well, you know how much I love a good frame! :) I don't think the fabric comes in an upholstery weight, but I think it would definitely work for a pillow. I've got the "Haunted House" and "Ghastlie Night" designs, but I still haven't tracked down "A Ghastlie Reunion" or "A Ghastlie Gallery" yet. When I do, I've decided that I'm going to cover some canvases with them, and hang them on the wall above my work desk. They'll be great inspiration!Hi Autumnforest,Yes, they just get better and better with each new design in the range.Hi Pensive,Yep, curtains would be a perfect use as well! It would be great to have a large area like that covered in these cute illustrations.Hi Lady Bethezda,That would look fabulous! I love the idea of such a quirky print on formal dining chairs!Hi Lorelei,Not violet, but it does come in a "Deadly Mauve" background.
Fabulous! I want a skirt made from the cat fabric...to start anyway ;)
Hi merricat,Yep, love Sebastian the cat too! I only have a small, fat quarter size piece of that fabric, but I'll figure out something to do with it!
Does anyone have any information about the scale of this print?
Hi Anonymous,I don't know the scale of this particular print because I haven't been able to get my hands on it yet. :) It's a shame that the Alexander Henry Fabrics website doesn't give scale. In my experience with some of the other Ghastlie fabrics featuring the characters, the scale is quite large. One character could be 7 or 8 inches tall. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that each picture is probably at least 4 inches. That's just a guess though. Wish I could be more help!
